Once you have confirmed your booking and attend the firearm safety course students receive an understanding of the world that is “Firearms” safety, standards of expectations, rules, regulations, types of firearms, practical handling skills, categories, laws,  governing bodies and more!

Why Safety at all times when dealing with Firearms is absolutely paramount and made the number one priority in all areas of Firearms handling which is covered in detail throughout the duration of all our firearms safety courses.

COURSE INFO:

The Firearms Safety Course itself is made up of various theoretical components, required skills and knowledge, practical handling skills, interactive assessments, and a Live Fire assessment!

The live fire assessment tests the students ability to demonstrate the required skills and knowledge learnt throughout the safety course, giving the student the complete experience of shooting and feeling the recoil of a firearm when discharged. This is done on an approved range with the range officer/Instructor supervising you through every step of the assessment.

Once you have successfully completed the required skills and knowledge and assessments in the course, a nationally recognised statement of attainment will be issued to the student as proof that he or she has met all the legal requirements and competencies regulated by Weapons Licensing QLD.

When you receive your statement of attainment, you can then go online and proceed with your firearms licence application.
